just one of those days when so much stuff happened that the start of the day feels a million years ago, y’know? it started at 9am with cooked breakfast at the harley with everybody and then nice chilled revision in our union’s beer garden :3 then a three hour exam- the paper was really good the questions were PERFECT, but i still don’t feel that great about it.

THEN i had a post-production meeting with the newspaper which went really well, our section and my feature article especially seemed very well received for both style and content so that’s great ^.^! then me lizzy and sophie went for an extremely necessary burger + beer combo at the union.

when i got home, my clothes packages had arrived! yaaay! i finally had a catch-up with my parents on the phone and now i’m gonna tidy my room and read on my kindle. my plan for tomorrow is to fully edit and possibly submit the essay i finished last week. life is busyyyyyy

first week back at uni is going OKAY but i have soso much to do and not enough brain space to do it; too distracted, too sad. i’m sleepy today because i was up until 3am dealing with injured and drunk housemates, ughhh. so now i’m up later than planned and don’t really know where to start on work and will probably just disregard it, again, and read the hunger games on my kindle (which was rudely interrupted last night). also, my foot is swollen and i can’t walk on it. so work tomorrow is going to be really excellent =-.-=

today has been long, but work wasn’t bad and I got my lexicology assessment finished! I got home to a gigantic brown parcel with MY name written on it, in my mother’s handwriting. what is this?! my birthday present was my docs and some money towards new clothes, which as I posted, I got on wednesday. what is in this mystery package?!? cards have started to arrive too, eeeeeeek. maybe I am a little excited for my birthday ^.^ and very excited to go home on the 7th, I may be turning 20 but I’m not afraid to admit I miss my parents and I want HUGS

I slightly messed up my essay submission so I’ll have to go back in the morning to fix this T__T the English reception ladies already despise me for going at 5pm on the dot today, so oops. they’re so moody! Tomorrow afternoon I intend to shop for lots of excellent things, including; red dr martens, a new dress, leather jacket, flat shoes that aren’t boots, nail polish, hair products, and get a tattoo booked :3 then I have PIZZA EXPRESSSS and I plan to eat dough balls and pizza and have an awesome time~ here’s to smiling as much as possssible!

• life; I’m not working (as in CeX working) for a couple of weeks which gives me some time to clear my head and focus on Uni and get these essays obliterated
• my literature essay is taking shape and hopefully my first draft will be completed today ^.^
• I have a brief meeting soon to chat about my language of power essay (which is about Gilmore Girls, hehe) because apparently I need threefold approval before feeling confident to start, sigh, and if I’m REALLY good I can get a first draft done by the end of tonight?! 
• I bought myself a lovely leather bound Shakespeare complete works from the RSPCA shop for £2.99 this morning (because it would’ve been a crime not to, and what sort of literature student doesn’t have a complete works of Shakespeare?!)
• I wish I was playing Halo and watching The Office right now -______-
